Learn Hibernate, Struts and Spring
It's been a long time since I jump off to VB and shift to java. Since i already understand some of java's concept, I want to learn now the new technologies like Hibernate, Struts, and Spring. I've found a great site which contains basic concepts, history, and sample programs using the following frameworks and i want to share it to those developers reading this article. An adviser from an institute gave me the site named roseindia where i can study hibernate, struts and spring.

Exposing Oracle Database Connection
After Installation, your connection to the Oracle database is not yet exposed so you'll need to configure it inside Oracle.
This assumes that the user is successfully logged in to the Database.
1. On the Oracle Home Page, click the drop down box of the Administrators and choose "Manage HTTP Access"
2. On the Manage HTTP Access form, select "Available from local server and client". This will expose your database in your network.
Click "Apply Changes" button to save.
Your database is now accessible to you network.Happy DBA!

(HON) Heroes of Newerth vs (DOTA) Defense of the Ancient
Like Defense of the Ancient or DOTA, Heroes of Newerth or HON has features that DOTA doesn't have. Here are the following:
Online HON can played only Online while DOTA can played in your own PC, via LAN or ONLINE. Since DOTA developers are still releasing more Maps including AI Maps where a single player can play in his own machine. I don't think if this will be an advantage by HON to DOTA. But for me, DOTA has 1 point.
HON with VIOP Since HON can played online, players must have a real time communication where they can plan and execute their strategies in the exact time. So no question about this, HON has 1 point for this.
Map Creation I'm still voting for DOTA regarding Map Creation because in HON, i think players can also create their own maps. In order to played these kind of game, you must have a single MAP that you can play on. DOTA has another point.
Leaver Protection When you play DOTA online, there is a lot of quitters or weak. They are the players who are quitting while the game is on because of some reasons like: their level gap to other players is far, and your hero is weaker compare to your opponent that’s why the only thing you can do is to quit your current game. In HON, quitters are restricted to other games because of its history of leaving games early. The game can be more exciting if all the players are complete until they finished the game.
